Kent City Schools uses PaySchools Central for food service accounts and fee payments .
We encourage ALL PARENTS to visit PaySchools Central and register for an account.
- Sign up for Low-Balance E-Mail or text notifications.
- Enable Auto-Pay to replenish your student’s account to ensure it never hits $0.
- Download the Mobile app for Android Phones and iPhones

Are you interesting in becoming a lunch monitor? Our lunch monitors work with our students inside the cafeteria & during the recess hours. Positions vary between 2-3 hours and occur during the lunch periods.
Are you interested in becoming a food service worker? Our food service workers work in our kitchens & cafeterias. Job duties include, but not limited to, running the cash registers, preparing and serving food & cleaning up. Our food service workers also work closely with our students ensuring a positive environment for our students during their lunchtime. Position hours vary at each location, but average between 3-5 hours.

*If a student is qualified for Free Lunch or Breakfast, the meal is FREE.
*If a student is qualified for Reduced-price meals, a Lunch meal is FREE and Breakfast meal is FREE.
*If your check is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF), your account will be debited electronically for both face amount & returned check fees.
For the 2025-2026 school year, students that qualify for reduced price meals will receive them at no cost.
