Juniors interested in serving on the 2025 Leadership Retreat Planning Committee for the 40th Leadership Retreat can pick up information in the Activities Office and should plan to attend a brief informational meeting this Thursday, February 13, beginning at 2:45 pm in room 133 to review the application process and overall expectations of the class. This event will provide the opportunity to learn about the Kent Career Technical Education programs, meet the instructors, explore our outstanding facilities, and find out how to apply to a program. The Unified Sports basketball event is THIS Friday, February 7th. Students from several other schools will be joining our rough riders for a great day of basketball competition and fun. Teachers you are welcome to bring your classes down to cheer on all athletes in this inclusive and exciting school event!

There will be a boys volleyball open gym TONIGHT from 7-8:30 in the auxiliary gym.

Just a reminder to all athletes that were selected by your coach to represent your sport at the Mental Health and Leadership Training program on February 6th Your field trip form needs to be turned in immediately. It’s time for our Winter Rumble bingo. Your 1st period teachers should have given you your Bingo Board! If you win, head to the activities office to verify and for a prize! Congratulations to the senior boys for winning this year’s Rowdy Rough Volleyball! The juniors came close behind, followed by the freshman/sophomore combined team. Thank you to all players, coaches, refs and fans for making this event so successful.

A huge congratulations to the sophomore girls, freshmen boys and senior co-ed teams for their dodgeball wins last night! Thank you to all participants. Don’t forget to keep donating to change wars and playing Teddy Trivia to earn more points for your class.

City of Stars tickets for the winter dance are still being sold at all lunches for $10. If tickets are still available on Saturday (day of the dance), tickets will be $15 at the door!

Get excited for the most anticipated spirit week day! Dress up for the gym or dress up like you are going to pilates! Wear your workout gear for Gym Bro vs. Pilates Princess.

For Unified Sports: RHS is hosting another amazing Unified Sports basketball event on Friday, February 7th in the RHS gyms. Again, this event is Friday, February 7th from 10am-12 pm in both RHS gymnasiums!!!

For Teddy's Cafe: Teddy's Cafe store hours are 7:30-10:20 am on Fridays. Come on down to the lunchroom concession stands for your choice of hot chocolate, hot coffee and/ or iced coffee. We will also be selling t-shirts and lanyards!!! We appreciate all of your support riders!!!
