Spring into recycling! After this announcement, it’s time to bring your blue recycling bins down to the photography hall (152). There will be students to help guide the recycle collection! Teachers check your mail boxes for the brand new recycling posters listing what we can and can't recycle. As a reminder: we can recycle paper, plastic, glass, cardboard and metal. Please do not recycle food scraps, batteries and styrofoam. Let's keep Roosevelt green and bring those bins down now! Thank you again for helping the Environmental Club’s efforts to keep our school community green.

Congratulations to Carson D'Sidocky and Keturah Buchanan who have qualified to The OHSAA District Tournament this weekend. Carson has an opportunity to wrestle at the boys district championships at Garfield Heights High School on Friday and Saturday. Keturah will wrestle at the girls district championships at Mentor High School on Sunday. Good Luck Carson and Keturah!

Congratulations to our state qualifiers at the Swim & Dive Tournament last week. Tuesday, Parker finished 26th and represented Roosevelt with pride. Thursday the relay of AJ Springer, Eli Hilton, Gage Bailey and Jack Puhalla finished 20th and dropped over 1.2 seconds to be the first relay to qualify to states in over 30 years. Great job boys! Finally, with a 2-time All-Ohian performance, Gage Bailey for finals on Friday. He not only broke the school record in the 50 free, but he also broke his 100 fly record. Finishing 9th and 10th at the OHSAA State Meet gives him the ALL-OHIOAN Title. Congratulations Gage on a wonderful season.

If you are driving a vehicle to school, you need to have a parking permit in order to avoid being ticketed. Everyone needs to park in an actual parking space, if the front parking lot is full, please remember that the stadium lot is also a student parking lot and you can park there too.

Congratulations to our TRHS Academic Challenge Team led by Captain Ethan Young, Benjamin Baron, Cash Liedl, Jay Datta, and Nina Loofboro who went 7-0 at the Copley Invitational this Saturday to bring home a trophy and qualify for Regionals! Juniors and Freshman: Lists are up for room assignments for Tuesday February 28th ACT and Pre ACT Tests. The lists are hung outside the media center, counseling, CTE office and the second floor. Please look up where you will be testing.
