Pre-sale tickets for Friday’s football game against Tallmadge will be on sale TODAY until 2:45 pm. There will be no pre-sale tickets sold at school on Friday due to Professional Development day. If you forget to purchase your ticket at school Thursday, you can purchase pre-sale tickets online until 3:00 p.m. Friday for the discounted price.
Open mats for the Girls and Boys Wrestling Team will begin next week. This year the Ohio High School Athletic Association has made Girls Wrestling an Official Sport. Open Mats will be on Monday and Thursday - STARTING NEXT WEEK - from 6 - 7:15 pm in the new high school wrestling room. Any girl or boy interested in wrestling should plan on being there. You will need shorts, tshirt and wrestling shoes or tennis shoes
The Lady Rider Golf team’s season came to a close yesterday after finishing 6th in the sectional tournament, missing the cut by six strokes. The top four teams advance. However, junior co-captain Maddie Kost will advance to the District tournament next Thursday after firing a stellar 76 at the Old Avalon Golf Course. Congratulations to Maddie for advancing and the entire Lady Rider Golf team for a great season.
As a reminder, Interact Club will be meeting today in room 214 at 2:40 p.m. Meetings will be held every Tuesday. There’s still time to join!

ATTENTION GIRLS AND BOYS BOWLERS: There will be open bowling every Wednesday this month at 3:30 pm at Kent Lanes. Tuesday, October 18th, there will be a winter sports and coaches meeting for athletes and parents. Tryouts for bowling will be Friday, November 4th and Monday, November 7th.
Hey Students! Don't forget to purchase your pre-sale ticket for Friday’s Homecoming football game. Pre-sale tickets will be on sale tomorrow until 2:45 in the Athletics/Activities office or scan the QR code on the office window to purchase electronically. Price per ticket is $4.00, which increases to $7.00 after 3:00 p.m. Avoid the line at the gate and save $3.00 per ticket.
"Auditions for "Brave New World", the radio play, is this afternoon at 3p in the Scene Shop. Everyone, with or without theatrical experience, who is interested in performing is encouraged to attend today at 3p in the Scene Shop. Available roles and character descriptions are posted on the Scene Shop door. Also, anyone who missed the first Drama Guild meeting last week, and are still interested in helping backstage with technical support, please show up today at 3p in the Atrium to fill out an Intake Form. A rehearsal schedule is posted on the Scene Shop door."
Reminder to all Homecoming Court members -- Please turn in your ticket reservation form by the end of today. Also, tomorrow is our stadium rehearsal for the halftime presentation. Please report to the stadium at the beginning of 4th period. The rehearsal will be done by the end of 5th period. If you normally have 4th period lunch, you will eat during 6th period. See you tomorrow.
Don’t want to wait in line?!! Then buy your Homecoming tickets TODAY!! The presale tickets are $10 each. Students MUST have a completed EMA in Final Forms in order to buy a ticket. Likewise, anyone whose date (+1) is a non-Roosevelt student must have a completed Student Guest Form turned in and approved before buying tickets.

Drama Guild Actors please meet in the Auditorium Atrium at 3p today. Auditions for "Brave New World" will be this Thursday, 9/29, starting at 3p. More details about Auditions will follow with an official notice posted on the Scene Shop door very soon. Today’s the day! Drama Guild will meet Today, 9/22 at 2:45 p.m. in the auditorium atrium. Calling all actors, talented individuals, tech crew; any and all experience levels welcome. Also, looking for a couple students interested in a PAID tech crew position.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Our Senior ladies got the dub last night at Powder Puff football with the sophomores trailing close behind. The juniors took 3rd place and the freshman were last. Thank you to all those who helped make this another successful event.

The Leadership Retreat Chipotle’s Fundraiser for today has been CANCELLED due to construction delays at the new Kent Chipotle. The fundraiser will be rescheduled sometime next month when their new location is opened. Stay tuned!
