Hey Rough Riders! Mrs. Creamer’s second group is also open to all students of Theodore Roosevelt High. It is titled, “ Who Am I? Leadership Group”. This group seeks students who have leadership potential and need the opportunity to create the space to find the leader within! Groups will meet on Tuesdays after school from 2:30-3:45 pm.

Hey Riders, Listen up and look alive, this is how proud RidersR.I.D.E.! It’s time to announce this WEEK’S PBIS R.I.D.E. Winners! The following students are being acknowledged for demonstrating positive behavior in the area of Respect, Integrity, Duty and/or Excellence. For the week of December 11th-15th of 2023 PBIS winners, just a reminder 20 students per week will be chosen, and announced daily. Your rider sticker will be placed in the nominating teacher/staff mail boxes to be delivered to you! Mondays winners were: Maddy Booher, Xavier Lombaro, Michael Shannon,, Nathan Malek and Staff member - Mrs. Larkin. Tuesdays winners were: Cherish Stokes, Lonnie Eicher, Hannah (Theo) Scarlett, Gia Watts and Staff member - Mrs. Golden. The girls and boys swim and dive teams secured their THIRD meet victory of the year against Barberton Wednesday evening to put both teams at a 3-0 record! The girls’ score was 132-32 and the boys’ score was 133-25. The swimmers of the meet were: Maddie Kost and Sam Amodio. Congratulations to all swimmers and divers on another successful meet! Great job, Rough Riders.

Boys and Girls bowling kicked off their season with a non-conference match vs. Rootstown on Tuesday. We had a great turnout of fans and were able to get all of our players valuable experience. Top game scores for the boys were: Braden Latacki, 255; Brayden Darkow, 247 and 226; Aidan Broyles, 213. Top game scores for the girls were: Ryleigh Balan, 164; Jillian Eden, 164; Grace Edmond, 157; Hannah Robinson, 155; Emma Arthur, 155 and Kierra Naseer, 149. We have our first conference match vs. Cuyahoga Falls this Thursday at Kent Lanes at 4:00 pm for anyone that wants to come support our Rider Bowlers. Admission is Free!!
