Congratulations to our Rough Rider boys basketball team for beating the Highland Hornets Friday night by a final score of 57-47. The Rough Riders were led by senior Jayden Reynolds with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Great team win boys! Go Riders!

Congratulations to the Lady Rider Basketball team defeating Copley last night 45-42 in a complete and total team win where every player contributed in a way that led the Rough Riders to victory!

The Boys and Girls Bowling teams both won vs Copley yesterday at Kent Lanes. The boys were led by Senior Matt Richards who bowled a very impressive perfect 300 game! They improved to 7 and 3 in the Suburban. Tara Sefchick led the way for the girls with a 409 set. Paige Robinson also had a very nice 355 set and her sister Hannah Robinson had a career high game of 221. The team had great contributions form Ryleigh Balan, Jillian Eden, Delaney Sefchick, Dejea Pinkney, Maisy Montgomery, and Addison Knowles The ladies are now 7 and 2 in the Suburban. Keep it rolling Riders!

The Sisterhood of St. Joseph Church is offering a scholarship to Catholic female students from several local school districts. The application deadline is February 15th. If you are interested in this $500 scholarship, please stop in the counseling office for an application.

Congratulations to our Lady Riders Hoops team last night defeating Field 66-32, led by Lexie Canning’s 18 points and 11 rebounds and Julia Nash’s 10 points and 5 assists. The team also wants to thank Dr. Roebke and the incredible RHS Pep Band as they made the game environment so full of energy and helped provide an incredible dance party after the win. Moments like those show why every day is a great day to be a Rough Rider!

Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Swim and Dive team for their victories over Tallmadge last night. The boys won 98-71 and the girls won 96-79. Swimmers of the meet for the girls were Maddie Touve-Streby and Izzy Wood. For the boys the swimmers of the meet were Patrick Kirby and John Denning. The diver of the meet was Maddie Booher.
