TRHS’s newsmagazine, The Colonel, is busy preparing their October issue which will include several articles highlighting Halloween. The Colonel staff needs to hear from YOU about your thoughts on Halloween. Look for the posters around the school and scan the QR code to take the surveys.

Do you want to improve your problem solving skills, make new friends and learn to play a classic board game? If so, come to Chess Club on October 1st in room 207 after school.

The Chili Challenge is coming back on October 11 before the home football game. If you’ve got a winning recipe, sign up to register your chili for the Chili Challenge. All clubs, teams, departments, and anyone interested in registering their chili should complete the registration form -- just scan the QR code on one of the fliers or on the cafeteria media wall.

The Rough Rider Cross Country teams competed at the Streetsboro Quad this past Wednesday evening against Streetsboro, Field, and Ravenna. Our girls took a third place overall finish with Kenzie Zifchak, Evie Caldwell, Sadie Yeagley, Marisa Feeley, and Cate Simms scoring for the team. The boys edged out Streetsboro 39 points to 45 points and took the overall first place spot. The Rough Riders were led by Cor Asp, Carter Stevenson, Dean Foster, Diego Coutino Granados, and Alex Simms. A shout out to Dean Foster, Caleb Gilliland, and Ethan Koher who all set their all time personal best performances!

This is a reminder to all students that still need to purchase their parking passes: The deadline is October 1, please purchase your parking passes by then. If they are not purchased you will start getting parking tickets and then you will have to speak to an Administrator.

We are asking that all cars be out of the stadium parking lot TODAY by 3:30 p.m. This lot is used for handicap parking at our football games. Thank you!
