January and early February is a busy time for our Career & Technical Education programs. There are several events showcasing the various programs and opportunities available to sophomore students as they prepare for their junior-year coursework and potential career pathways. All sophomores will attend the Six District Educational Compact Career Program Showcase on January 10 and tour Kent Career Programs on January 17. Students will have an opportunity to select a Career program(s) to visit to get a more in-depth look at the advantages of joining a Career program. In addition, parents and students can attend a special evening event at TRHS on February 8 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. to learn about Kent Career Programs and have questions answered. The final step is to apply to a Career program by going to www.sixdistrict.enrolltrack.com/ and submitting an application by February 20.
