Vaccine requirements for 7th graders
The state of Ohio requires all students entering the 7th grade to have the Meningococcal vaccine (also known as MCV4, Menevo or Menactra) in addition to one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis).

Vaccine requirement for 12th graders
The state of Ohio requires all students entering the 12th grade to have a second dose of meningococcal vaccine (also known as MCV4, Menevo or Menactra). If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine was administered on or after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required.

Flu Vaccine Clinic at school

Akron Children's Hospital- School Health Services is working with your child’s school to offer the annual influenza (Flu) vaccine to children at school during the school day on October 11, 2023. Participation is voluntary and offered to all consented students regardless of their insurance coverage. If you want your student to receive the vaccine, please completely fill out the consent form below and return to your child's school by October 6, 2023. Please review the parent letter and Vaccine Information Statement below. If you have any questions, please contact the School Based Health Center at 330-543-7242 or your child's school clinic.
