The free school meals that were made available by the federal government as a result of the pandemic, expired June 2022.

Your student(s) may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals for the 2022-2023 school year.

Applications for free and reduced-price school meals must be completed this school year. If your family qualifies and you have not completed an application for the 2022-2023 school year, we ask that you complete an application now.

If a student is qualified for Free Lunch or Breakfast, the meal is FREE.
If a student is qualified for Reduced-price meals, a Lunch meal is $0.40 and Breakfast meal is $0.30.

Meal Options at Stanton Middle School and Roosevelt High School


  • There are two pricing options for lunch at Stanton:

  • The Green Street Deli Line at TRHS is the premium price.

  • The Deli Wraps and Subs at SMS are the premium price.


Meal Charge Guidelines for ALL Kent City School Students

  • If your check is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF), your account will be debited electronically for both face amount & returned check fees.

Monday, June 6 – Friday, August 12, 2022

Kent City Schools will be offering a Summer Feeding Program beginning next Monday, June 6.
The Food Service Team will be distributing lunch meals
Mondays – Fridays over Summer Break ending on Friday, August 12.

All children 18 and under are encouraged to participate and will receive a lunch meal free of charge.

In conjunction with the lunch meals, LoveLight, Inc. will be providing fun activities to participate in daily.

*Meals will be distributed directly out of our RED Food Truck. You can’t miss us!
