8th Grade Open House - Feb 5, 2026

On Thursday, February 5​, 2026 (alternate date if inclement weather will be Monday, February 9), ​Theodore Roosevelt High School will be hosting a variety of informational events for families and the Kent community. 

At 6:30 pm, Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School’s Career-Technical Education Conversation for all interested 10th & 9th grade students and parents will be held tonight February 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. This will be a time for students and parents to tour TRHS CTE programs, talk to teachers and get a firsthand look at everything Theodore Roosevelt has to offer. Teachers and students in each of these programs will be available in their classrooms to give demonstrations and answer questions. Please go directly to the program room(s):

At 7:00 pm, the TRHS Administration​, Activities & Athletics Office, and Counseling Department​ will be hosting the annual 8th Grade Open House, in the auditorium to welcome the Class of 2030 to Theodore Roosevelt High School. Following a brief program in the auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m., 8th grade students and their families are invited to tour the building and meet with representatives from departments, athletic teams and student organizations in the auxiliary gym.  Building tours, conducted by Roosevelt students, will depart every 10 minutes from the back door of the library starting at 7:30 p.m.  

To conclude the evening, we invite the Kent Community to the Roosevelt Showcase, beginning at 7:30 pm, in the TRHS Auxiliary Gym. The showcase provides a wonderful opportunity to see the many course offerings, special programs, sports, and clubs available to students attending Theodore Roosevelt High School.
