The first week of school is the host of many events to help students start the year successfully. Please review the information below for each day.

FIRST DAY FOR FRESHMEN -- On Wednesday, August 20, all Freshmen students will attend their first day of school Freshman Kickoff Orientation event at Theodore Roosevelt High School. Students can begin arriving at 6:45 through 7:30 am for check in at the main cafeteria entrance and auditorium atrium. The event, which will begin promptly at 7:30 am in the auditorium, combines informative sessions as well as fun activities led by our student mentors. Students will learn about The Rough Rider Way elements while also getting the chance to walk through their schedules and meet their teachers. The event ends at 2:29 pm at which time students can ride the bus home, be picked up or walk home. As an added bonus, attending students will receive a complimentary school spirit class t-shirt. Freshmen students should wear these shirts on Friday, August 29, for their free admission to the Freshman Tailgate at the first home football game.
FIRST DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS -- On Thursday, August 21, all students will attend their classes, following an Extended 1st Period Revised Bell Schedule.
FALL SPORTS & RAVENNA PEP ASSEMBLY -- The first week of school is starting off with great excitement for the rivalry football game against the Ravenna Ravens on Friday, August 22. 🏈 To cheer on our team, cheerleaders, and band, we will be having our Fall Sports & Ravenna Pep Assembly that afternoon so we will be following the Fall Sports & Ravenna Pep Assembly Revised Bell Schedule for the school day.
