The following is information about the upcoming school year. As always, feel free to call the office at 330-676-8300 with any questions.
This year we will be having a Kindergarten Boot Camp. The boot camp will be on August 15, 16 and 17 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and is mandatory. It will allow our teachers to get to know the children in a fun and creative environment in addition to helping students start adjusting to more structured time in the classroom when school begins. You may drop off your student, but we ask that you not bring any siblings. Please be sure to return promptly at 11:00 am.
Dates to Remember
August 15-17: Boot Camp from 9-11:00.
August 17: Class Lists Posted Class lists will be posted on the front doors of the school after 3:00 pm so you can find your child's teacher.
August 18: Supply Night The building will be open from 5:00-6:00 pm, and teachers will be in their classrooms. You may stop by to see the room, meet the teacher and bring any supplies.

August 22 and 23: Kindergarten Readiness Assessments You only need to come to Walls during your scheduled time. The assessment will take approximately 40 minutes, and you may wait for your student in our waiting area.

August 24: Kindergarten Orientation Students with the last name of A-M will come from 9:00 to 10:30 and students with the last name N-Z will come from 12:00 to 1:30. There will be a program for both students and parents. We ask that you not bring any siblings, if possible.
August 25: First Day of School! The school opens at 8:20 for students eating breakfast and at 8:30 for all other students. School begins at 8:40, and students arriving after that time are tardy and must report to the office. The dismissal bell rings at 3:15. The teachers will go over arrival and dismissal during orientation.
