As we get ready to return to school, please remember the following:
1. Do not send your child to school if he/she has ANY symptoms of illness.
a. Cough
b. Sore throat
c. Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
d. New loss of taste or smell
e. Stuffy/runny nose
f. Fever greater than or equal to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
g. Chills/Body shakes
h. Vomiting/Nausea
i. Diarrhea
j. Headache
k. Muscle aches
2. Students will be sent home from school if they present with any of the above symptoms
3. In order for your child to return to school you MUST:
a. Have a doctor’s note OR
b. Present a VERIFIED negative COVID test emailed to jsidoti@kentschools.net or lputaturo@kentschools.net
Students must be fever free for 24 hrs WITHOUT medication in order to return to school under all circumstances.
Students who have vomited must go 24 hrs WITHOUT vomiting before returning to school.
Keep in mind the following regarding COVID tests that are given by the clinic:
1. DO NOT open the box until you are instructed to do so from a live person (telehealth proctor) through the website.
2. A picture of the test card or any other materials WILL NOT be accepted
