On Sunday, Okko Boger scored an overtime goal to lead the Rider Hockey team to a victory over CVCA. The victory ended the Rider’s regular season on a high note, and gave them their 18th victory. Last night the ice hockey team defeated Elyria Catholic 4 to 2 in round one of the Baron Cup Playoffs. This victory pushed the team’s overall record to 19 – 11 – 2. Last night’s goals were scored by Okko Boger, Matt Marniella, Gordie Fisher, and Scott Rainey. Their second round game will take place on Friday night vs. Solon.
Project Unity members- we will meet tomorrow, 2/6 right after school to decorate the library showcase for Black History Month. Make sure to bring your supplies in for tomorrow and then we will have our meeting when we are finished decorating. See you after school tomorrow!
Boys Bowling wins the PTC Tournament clinching the PTC Metro Championship! Leading scoring was Chris Hoskin with a silver medal 658 performance, Joey Swanson high game 225, Brandon Klembus 221 and Ben Langstaff 202. Girls took 2nd place with Kaitlyn Jastromb taking the bronze medal with a 214 high game, Micayla Moore bowled a 244 and Makayla Delaney a 203! Good Luck at Sectionals this weekend at Sky Lanes!
All sophomores that are scheduled to visit culinary, international business and aviation at Stow should report tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 5 to guidance at end of 2nd period.
There will be a MANDATORY Post-Secondary meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 5th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Roosevelt’s Film Society will meet Tuesday, February 5th at 2:45 in room 113 to watch Juno, a sharp comedy about High School. Refreshments will be provided!
