The Ice Hockey team’s season came to an end on Saturday, as the team fell 5 to 2 to University School putting their final record at 21-13-2. Kyle Manning scored two goals and Nate Grootegoed was outstanding in net as he turned away 51 shots on net. Great job this season team, and hockey fans thanks for your support!
The Theodore Roosevelt High School Drama Guild presents Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from February 28 through March 3. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. The curtain opens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2. The matinee performance on Sunday, March 3 begins at 3:00 p.m. If you buy your tickets during lunch periods this week, they are a dollar cheaper! If you would like to see the preview performance for only $3, then come on Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m. You’ll get a lot of laughs, and you can support your Drama Guild friends at the same time!
Attention all girls trying out for Lacrosse– tryouts will begin Monday at Stanton middle school from 5-7 pm. They will be Monday- Wednesday 5-7pm and Thursday 3-5pm at Stanton.

A stellar defensive effort led by Jake Schmauch, Mitch Fisher, and Lyndon Rainey, help the Rider Hockey team defeat Mayfield 4 to 1 on Sunday afternoon in State Tournament play, and improve their record to 21 – 12 – 2. The Riders will take on University School on Saturday, February 23rd at 5:00 p.m. in Sectional Final play.
