Student Parking Permit Deadline September 6th
Attention all Students who drive to school: This Friday is the deadline to purchase your parking permit. We will begin checking for students without permits on Monday, September 9th. Permits are available from Mrs. Pifers in the Main Office.
Lady Riders Volleyball
Last night the Lady Riders Volleyball team defeated the Springfield Spartans to improve to 3 and 0 in the conference. Bif performances came from Cortnee Bowser with 12 aces, Sophi Cudworth with 16 kills, Mylane Bella-Smuts with 18 assists and Cat Miller with 16v assists. JV also won in 2 sets. Tomorrow the team takes on Field at home starting at 5:30.
Girls Soccer
The Rough Riders Girls Soccer team kicked off their league play with a 6-1 win at Crestwood last night. Scoring for the Lady Riders were, Melisha Vaughn with a hat trick, Justina Fortson, Laney Britt, and Laura Feetterers. Assists for the night went to Haley Stuver and Dawn Ceccardi. JV completed the sweep with a 6-3 win. They now travel to Hudson this Saturday at 7pm to take on the Lady Explorers, be sure to come out and show your support!

Senior Slideshow Crew Meeting 9/4/2013
Attention Seniors! If you would like to become a part of the official Senior Slideshow crew, come to the first planning meeting TODAY after school in the back of the library. If you can’t attend, let Danylo Lavrentovich or our class advisors, Mrs. Silver or Miss Sundman know right away!
Opening Grade Level Assemblies
Opening Grade Level Assemblies will take place this Friday, August 30. On Friday morning, the Sophomore Class will report to 1st period class and then be called to the auditorium at 7:35 for their opening assembly. Juniors will report directly to the auditorium at the beginning of 2nd period, and seniors at the beginning of 3rd period. Those students who are presenting information at Friday’s Opening Assemblies should refer to the meeting agendas for presentation times. Please see Mrs. Jurging if you have any questions about Friday’s assemblies.
First Drama Guild Meetiing
Here’s your chance to get involved with Drama Guild! The first meeting is Tuesday, September 3rd at 2:45 in the auditorium. We need actors and backstage crew members, so come check it out!

Hey RHS Students!!! Buy your pre-sale football tickets for tonight’s game at Hoban. Only student tickets will be pre-sold and are $4.00. Tickets will be $7.00 at the game. Pre-sale tickets will be available today during lunch and right after school only.
Celbrate Devon Conwell
Any student or adult interested in celebrating Devon Conwell’s Birthday- you are invited to join his family on July 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at Standing Rock Cemetery where they will release balloons to honor his birthday. Please feel free to bring your own balloon to release.
