Congratulations Boys Golf
Congratulations to the Boys Golf Team for qualifying for districts yesterday. Leading the way was Cole smith with a 76 followed by Mike Kenney and Ryan Crossen with a pair of 78s. Rounding out the scoring was AJ Stronz with an 84 and Paul Silver with 85. Great job guys!

Women’s Soccer Beats Field
The Women’s Soccer team capped off their Kick-For-A-Cure game against Field with a 3-0 win last night. Scoring for the Rough Riders were Carly Evans assisted by Keeley Leising, Maya Davis, and Elaine Britt. Also, playing well on the evening was Audra Grimm in goal for the shutout. Be sure to come out tomorrow night to support the girls as they take on St. Vincent St. Mary at home with JV at 5pm and varsity at 7pm.
Congratulations Girls Golf
Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team who won their Sectional Tournament at Tamer Win Golf Course. They shot a team record 308 led by Kasey Nielsen’s 4 under par 70. Kory Nielsen shot 73, Kelly Nielsen 75, Coreena Wise 90 and Chloe Wise 94. Great job!
Field Hockey Wins On Senior Night!
Our Rough Riders Field Hockey Team won their final home game for the season Monday night with a score of 6 to 1! Helping the Riders fight off Cleveland Heights offense was Ellen Shipley and Emma McCarty. Scoring for the Riders were Erin Mackanos, Maddy Meloy, Brianna Culver and with 3 goals Katie McGann. Congrats and good luck with the rest of the season!
Girls Basketball Open Gym
Attention all girls not playing in a fall sport- there will be open gym for basketball this Wednesday from 6-7:15 in the Roosevelt Gym.
Kick-For-A-Cure Oct. 1
The Boys and Girls soccer teams are having a Kick-For-A-Cure game at home tonight against Field. Girls play at 5pm and the boys at 7pm. Please be sure to come out and support the teams and a great cause while you are at it. All proceeds will be donated to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University.
RHS Alive Every Wednesday
Join us tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. before school for RHS Alive. RHS Alive is a group that meets weekly in the Library for bible study, fellowship, prayer and food.
Homecoming 2013 Ticket Sales
Come to our “Sweet Escape” Homecoming 2013 on October 5th!!! Ticket sales begin October 2nd all lunch periods until Friday. Tickets are $8.00 presale and $10.00 at the door. Note that you can only buy a ticket for you and your date. If your date is not a Roosevelt student, you must have the guest form approved before you can buy their ticket. See you there!
