Seniors, information on the Balanced Man Scholarships through Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity can be found on the guidance web page. This scholarship is for freshmen men attending one of five schools in Ohio.
Portage County Indian Trails Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals is offering a $500 scholarship to an application who is furthering her or his education in a professional business office career. Applications are in the Guidance Office.
The Roosevelt Environmental Club competed in the Area 2 EnviroThon in Canfield, Ohio against 53 other teams. The Rough Riders took 15th place, their highest ranking ever, and earned the highest score of the five Portage County schools competing, winning the Portage County trophy for the second year in a row. Representing Roosevelt were Johnny Ahn, Katie Brezo, Nick D’Angelo, Will deCardenas (duh-CAR-duh-ness), Hayley Elrod, Ben Fetters, Jessi Lockhart, Ethan Long, Jason Toney, and Haylee Trusso. Congratulations, Environmental Club!
The Elections have successfully ended. Thank you to all candidates who participated in this year’s election and to all students who chose to participate by voting yesterday!
