Both the boys and girls teams gave their season bests at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds for Saturday’s District meet. The boys team dominated previous PR’s with Grant Wang and Andrew Murray breaking into the 17’s with Grant finishing in 17:53 and Andrew in 17:57. Pallav Kumar and Eric Morrison fought hard for an 18:05 finish, Isaac Pritt with a 19:48, Nate Guinto 19:54 and Richard Underwood in 20:11. The girls cross country team came in fast with Kaylie Murray taking 12th place in 19:39, Shayla Lawson 2nd for the rough riders in 21:35 followed closely by Alex Marsinek, Emily Gundlach, Paige Scott, Carrie Koogle, and Sarah Ludwig. Both teams ran extremely well for themselves. Please congratulate and celebrate with them today and wish Kaylie Murray good luck as she advances to regionals next Saturday at Boardman!

The Women’s Soccer team’s season came to a close last night as they lost to Nordonia in the playoffs. Scoring for the Rough Riders was Keeley Leising on an assist by Katie Mohnacky. The girls and coaching staff would like to send a big Thank You out to everyone who supported us throughout the season.
