Boys Volleyball Season
Last night the Boys Volleyball season came to an end with a tough fought loss to state ranked #2 Walsh. The Riders took Walsh to 4 games, but came up short by the scores of 22-25, 25-18, 24-26, 12-25. Leading the Riders were Brennan Beyner with 22 kills and Gordon Wall with 12. Brad Beyner led the team with 31 assists. Great season guys!

Academic Challenge
Roosevelt’s very own Academic Challenge Team will be featured on TV channel 5 this Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. So grab your favorite snack and settle in to watch students Paul Silver, Danylo Lavrentovich, and Palluv Kumar compete against two other high school teams. Congratulations and good luck, team!
Volleyball Advances
Last night the Boys Volleyball team defeated Medina in their tournament game by the scores of 25-20,25-21,25-18. Leading the Riders were Brennan Beyner with 19 kills and Gordon Wall with 9 and Brad Beyner added 26 assists. They will play Walsh in the Regional semifinal on Thursday.
Scholarship Info Needed!
Attention Seniors: Don’t forget – your green graduation profile is due in guidance by the end of school on Friday, May 17th. A sheet needs to be turned in for each student, so we know what your post- graduation plans are. Make sure you list all scholarships you were offered, not just those accepted. We need to have an accurate total of what the class of 2012 was offered so you can be recognized for all your accomplishments. And finally, don’t forget to indicate where you want your final transcript sent. Your enrollment at most colleges is contingent upon its receipt.

Volleyball Beats Hudson!
Last night the Boys Volleyball team defeated Hudson on their senior night by the scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-16. This improves their record to 10 and 8. Leading the Riders were Brennan Beyner with 25 kills and Gordon Wall with 10. Brad Beyner led the team with 35 assists. They will play their final regular season match tonight at Green Good luck!
Final Senior Guidance Assembly
Hey Seniors—Your final guidance assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th during 1st and 2nd periods. One of the things you’ll be doing is completing a form indicating your post-graduation plans.
