With only 3 teams advancing they placed 2nd at Sectionals last Sunday in Youngstown by knocking down an astonishing 3,707 PINS!! Sandwiched between Power house teams Austintown Fitch with 4,051 and Stow with 3,641 PINS. Senior Melanie Denning bowled her best ever with a 605 series placing 5th out of 114 bowlers with an exceptional 235 high game. Other high games included Kaitlyn Jastromb 208 and Trayce Harris 201. WISH GOOD LUCK TO THE GIRLS BOWLING TEAM when they bowl at Riviera Lanes this Sunday Feb 23 @noon in Fairlawn for District Competition. The Freshman Boys Basketball team finished a great season with a record of 11-3. They won the final game of the season 47-40 at Norton last night. Way to go Riders!
The JV Girls Basketball team finished their season with a 36-25 win over Norton last night. Leading the way was Laney Britt with 9 points and Kory Nielsen with 7 points. Contributing to the outstanding effort and defense was Shannon Wright and Hannah Face. The girls finished the season 18 and 4!! Great job girls! Your coach is proud of you!
