Branching Out – April 2020

April 1, 2020

Dear Students, Parents, and Friends of Theodore Roosevelt High School,

It is my sincere hope that everyone stays safe and healthy during this difficult time.  While we are all experiencing the pandemic, each of our students and families situations and ability to endure varies.  We understand that we are all in different circumstances and some of our students are not able to focus on their schoolwork right now.  However, our goal is to create the best working and learning opportunities possible so our students will continue to grow and reach their full potential.

It is critical that we all remain hopeful as we do our best to support each other as we work together. Accordingly, if your student is able to focus on academic coursework for a few hours a day, the expectation is that they will take advantage of the learning opportunities our teachers are providing.   Teachers are communicating with students through a variety of different platforms and we are expecting students to respond.

As of  now, state guidelines indicate that we will be able to return to school on May 1.  Stay tuned for updates on student activities and events for the month of May.
