Beginning July 13th, First Energy will be having a training class consisting of high school graduates interested in joining their customer call center. This means that graduates would be able to have a full time, 40 hour a week position with highly tailored training for the beginning of a new career – right out of high school! In addition, First Energy offers fantastic benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401k & pension plans, and if they are interested in pursuing higher education, First Energy offers tuition reimbursement to help them achieve their goals!
This opportunity is a fantastic way to get their foot in the door to one of Akron’s largest companies, but it is only available to those students set to graduate this summer and they must be 18 years old by July 13.2020.

Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour, then increases to $17.34
Schedule: 8:30am- 5pm Mon-Fri while in training; when training is completed, schedule will change to 9:30 am – 6:00 pm.
Receiving inbound calls, creating notifications, performing account maintenance, and inputting data; Documenting customer notes on accounts; Receiving and processing outage and 911 emergency calls within company and regulatory guidelines; Utilizing independent analysis and judgment resolving customer concerns; Handling all irate customers in a calm, courteous and professional manner; Analyzing and resolving customer inquiries.
