I would like to thank the volunteers listed below for ushering a crowded and very warm game on Saturday.
Staff – Mr. Casazza and Mrs. Longanecker
Parents – Michael Beach, Priscilla Simmons, David Simmons, Wynona McCaster, Chris Dunfee, Jean Myers, Clay Pickering, Lisa and Marty Gilliland, Tanisha Williams, Paul Jiang, Eliza Bruner, Baron Chambers, Trudy Dieh, Dylan Redman, Helena Jiang, and Serenity Baxter.
Our next game to usher is Saturday, October 26. We still need 6 more people. Each usher will receive 5 tickets to go in to the drawing in November. Please click on the link below if you are interesting. There will also be a drawing after each game for a $25 gift card. David Simmons was the lucky winner from Saturday. Reminder that all children get into the game for free. The drawing at the end of the season will include prizes from Kent movie theater, Kent Lanes, Sky Zone, and Kalahari. The money raised this year will be used to help purchase a climbing wall for our gym.
Kindness letters were given this Friday to Bijou Chambers in Mrs. Summer’s kindergarten class and Elijah Lopez in Mr. Wollam’s third grade class for being so respectful and attentive when tables needed to quiet in the lunch room for directions. In Mrs. Bates class Amanda Brind for making the substitute teacher’s day by being so on task and singing so beautifully with another student. Also in Mrs. Bates class, Sevyn Jones for helping a kindergartener who was very sad in the morning and walking him to class to make sure he was ok. Amari Cobbin in Mrs. Yeager’s class because another student tripped and fell and he helped them up. In Mrs. Longanecker’s class Brooklyn Frank for being such a HUGE help on Wednesday for live morning announcements. Keep up with the kindness!!!
