  • read & take notes: Ch. 27-7 thru -8 and -10
  • do Ch. 27 Questions #12-16 on p.782
  • do Ch. 27 Problems #37-41, 43 on p.784
  • read & take notes: Ch. 27-11 thru -13 (skim over equations)*
  • do Ch. 27 Questions #17-28 on p.782*

Hi everybody!  This week, your assignment is to complete all parts Assignment #1-4: Energy Flow in Food Webs by Friday, September 25th:

1. Review the Essential Knowledge slides
2. Watch the Crash Course Ecology video: “Ecosystem Ecology: Links in the Chain
3. Complete the Yellowstone Food Web JamBoard using the information in Part I of the Directed Task.
4. Answer the questions in Part II of the Directed Task.
5. Complete the Creative Task and attach it to Google Classroom or send it to me through Remind, email or text – don’t forget to include a short explanation of how your creation meets the learning goals

Also, read and take notes on Chapter 4-1 through 4-4 from your textbook, and then answer Questions #1-6 on p.97.

4. Watch the second Crash Course Ecology video: “Nitrogen and Phosphorus Cycles
5. Complete the #1-3: Directed Task using reputable online resources
6. Complete the #1-3: Creative Task and attach it to Google Classroom or send it to me through Remind, email or text – don’t forget to include a short explanation of how your creation meets the learning goals

  • do Ch. 30 Questions #20-25 on p.859
  • start Lab #1-1: Radioactive Decay Simulations
