(Students Against Violence Everywhere)

Advisor:
● Jacquie Peoples Dukes

Meeting Times:
● At least once per month
● Meetings are held during 7th or 8th grade level lunch times

Purpose:
● To train and develop student leaders who take the initiative in promoting a non-violent school atmosphere.
● To teach students about alternatives to violence and provide an opportunity for students to practice what they
learn through school and community service projects.
● To encourage and empower students with positive life skills while engaging them in educational activities and
opportunities to promote good citizenship, civility, and non-violence.

Membership:
● Students must have parent permission.
● Students must attend a required 7-hour annual training
● Students must be in 7th or 8th grade
