Purpose:

This is a once yearly quiz show style competition that follows the Academic Challenge format by providing questions to teams of students and allowing them to “buzz in” with the correct response.

In the tradition of Olympics, students in the top 3 winning teams will receive a gold, bronze and silver medal. All participants will receive gifts for their efforts.

There will be practices for Academic Scholar Bowl participants on 5 Tuesdays prerceeding the competition from 2:45 – 4:15 in room 610. The competition will be scheduled for the first week in April.

There is no transportation provided. Students are required to obtain their own rides home at the conclusion of the meeting and are encouraged to bring a snack and drink.
