The Buckeye team will be throwing their first annual chili cook-off on Thursday, November 1st in the SMS Auditeria. The cook-off will take place from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with tastings ending at 7:30pm. Come taste and vote for your favorite chili! There will also be a basket raffle! Chili cook-off champion and basket raffle winners will be announced from 7:30pm-8:00pm. Tickets to taste: $1 for 2 tickets, $5 for 12 tickets. Bowl of chili: $3. Tickets for the basket raffle: $1 per ticket, $5 for 6 tickets. Make sure to come join the fun!
Harvest Fest is this Friday, November 2nd from 2:45-4:15 at SMS (for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders). Tickets will be on sale all week during lunch and cost $3.00. Harvest Fest is a dance plus basketball/volleyball tournaments, corn hole, face painting, coloring contest, food and drink, plus much more! Make sure to bring extra money to buy tickets for activities and food!

To add your cell phone number or to check the status of your phone numbers and e-mail addresses, please go to the Self Update Portal and sign up or log in to access your information.
One Call Now has a SELF UPDATE PORTAL for you to view and update your contact information.
Go to the One Call Now portal for Kent City Schools and click the “Sign Up” button. The system will walk you through creating and editing your profile. When creating or editing your contact information, be aware of the “Main Contact” box. If a low-priority message about an upcoming event goes out, it will only go to your “Main Contact” number. High priority messages go to all numbers. You can change your “Main Contact” number to the phone where you want to receive the low priority messages.
