Our 6th Grade Girls cross country team placed first overall in the Regional Meet on Sunday, October 29th.
Trinity Patton placed 7th Overall and Hannah Robinson placed 9th Overall in the Regional Qualifying Meet. The top 10 girls from our 3 state region qualified as individuals for the national meet. Emma Arthur also qualified for Nationals as an individual from previous meet, but was not able to compete this past Sunday. The top 5 girls representing Stanton Middle School for the Youth Cross Country Nationals are Emma Arthur, Sophia DellaVecciha, Annie Liedtke, Trinity Patton, and Hannah Robinson.
There were also three other girls that were instrumental in the teams success this year. Toni Morris, Bella Pritchard, and Allison Schall all ran as alternates to our top five this year and made this season possible by scoring in meets throughout the season and helping the Girls Team place 2nd overall in the Bulldog Invitational a few weeks ago where Emma Arthur placed 3rd overall and the girls were invited to compete in the Districts and Regional Meets.
This group of 6th graders accomplished some amazing feats this year while representing the 6th grade at Stanton. Congratulations to everyone and good luck at the National Youth Cross Country Championships on November 18th!!
