Fall Sports Information

Students must have an up to date Physical on File to participate in Stanton Middle School athletics.  In addition, an accurate Emergency Authorization must also be complete and up to date.  Click on the links below to access these forms:

Cross Country – Coach Ron Holliday
The first practice will be August 4th.  Practices will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. every day.  We will meet at the SMS track. There are no tryouts required, but athletes need to have a physical and EMA turned in before participating in official practices.  This is for 7th & 8th grade boys and girls.

7th Grade Football – Coach Shawn Kiss
Optional lifting will begin June 24th from 11-12 at the weight room every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of the season. The first official practice is August 1st from 9:00-11:00. Practices are Monday through Friday.  Starting August 25th, practices will be 3:00-5:00 for the rest of the season.  There are no tryouts, but athletes need to have a physical and EMA turned in before participating in official practices.

8th Grade Football – Coach Wes Murphy
Weight Training will begin Monday June 16th from 10-11 in the weight room; every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the season starts. The first official practice is August 1st from 9:00-11:00. Practices are Monday through Friday.  Starting August 25th, practices will be 3:00-5:00 for the rest of the season.  There are no tryouts, but athletes need to have a physical and EMA turned in before participating in official practices.
