Five Stanton students participated in the Portage County Spelling Bee Tuesday evening at the Maplewood Career Center. The five students were the top spellers at the Stanton Spelling Bee last week. Of the many schools participating Tuesday evening, seventh grader Aziz White placed 3rd and will advance to the Akron-Beacon Journal Spelling Bee in March. Congratulations, Aziz! We are very proud of you and of all our spellers.
