  • Literature (Mrs. Henry): Daily Reading Practice #3, Updated grade sheet.  Notes on mystery plot structure.  Quiz tomorrow on story,”The Treasure of Lemon Brown”. Summary due tomorrow.
  • Language Arts (Mr. Pekarcik): Journal 14: Using similes to create attention-getting topic sentences for paragraphs. Analyze 9/11 photographs and create brief, reflective narratives. 9/11 Photograph and Narrative due tomorrow.

  • Language Arts (Mr. Pekarcik): Journal 16: Create dialogue with beginning speaker tags. Punctuate and capitalize correctly. Review mystery elements story map for “The Case of the Vanishing Signs”. Create conclusion to mystery that uses dialogue.  Begin work on second mystery and story map.
  • Science (Mr. Walton): Students completed the section 2. Section 2 quiz on Friday
