Reminder: The Trailblazers are visiting area nursing homes this Friday, April 1st as part of our community service interdisciplinary unit. Completed and signed permission slips needed by Thursday!

  • Literature (Mrs. Henry):  Update grade sheet, Introduce new novel, The Giver
  • Language Arts (Mr. Pekarcik): Return graded work and update grade sheet. Journals 22a (then vs. than) and 22b. Introduction to poetry: What’s known and unknown?
  • Science (Mr. Walton):  Students identifed the parts of an atom and the characteristics of each part.

  • Science (Mr.Walton): Chapter 2 assessment is due.   Identified how charged objects interact.

  • Language Arts (Mr. Pekarcik): Turn in Poetry Cafe worksheet. Journal 23: Last journal of grading period; turn in for grading. Introduction to poetry continued: Read and discuss “Summertime” and “All These Things That I Have Done”.
  • Science (Mr. Walton): Conducted class demonstrations on electric charges using the Van de Graph generator.
