  • Literature (Mrs. Henry):  update grade sheet, discuss Chapter 1 of novel, chapter 2 due Wed.,  Root word packet due Tomorrow.
  • Language Arts (Mr. Pekarcik): Turn in thesis statements for approval. Identify different types of supporting evidence and collect information for essay. Research in media center.

  • Language Arts (Mr. Pekarcik): Persuasion Map due. Journal 11. Writing introductions for persuasive essays that grab attention, clearly state thesis, and preview reasons that will appear in body of essay. Class time for drafting. Rough draft due Wednesday, February 23rd.
