Wednesday – Process Drama: Continued working on Terminology & Claims, Evidence, and Warrants, watched video clips of the news, Homework: Complete page 3 of the packet (Writing a paragraph that addresses the claim, evidence, and warrant from the prompt)
Thursday – Process Drama: Finished watching video clips of the news, identified and discussed Terminology & Claims, Evidence, and Warrants for each one.
Friday – Discussed the organization of an Argumentative Essay. Classwork/Homework: Label the parts of an example Argumentative Essay. Also, read both sides of the debate on the nonfiction article about the possible mission taking place in 2026 – Colonists going to live on Mars, complete the questions on the bottom of the article. Both assignments due Monday for a grade.
