Congratulations to the Hockey Team who came from behind to beat Parma last night 5-2. This win puts the Rough Riders in the championship game tonight, 1/19 for the Parma MLK Tournament. Kent lost to Bay on Saturday 3-7 and beat Lakewood Sunday 3-2. Bill Peachey has 5 goals for the tournament followed by Alex Gaj with 4, Tim Lowther with 3 and Evan Miner and Tyler Gontero each scored 1.

Congratulations to the Roosevelt Ohio Model United Nations Club on their fantastic showing at the State Conference this past weekend in Columbus. The team came home with 2 trophies, one for outstanding resolution and one for money raised for the education Project in Nigeria. Way to go Riders! We are all very proud of you!

Top Swimmers: Kent won the 200 Medley Relay with Taylor Wise, Laurel Crocker, Monica Sincel, Dana Steinert (2:02.93); and the 200 Free Relay with Crocker, Steinert, Sincel and Wise. (1:49.00); First place individual competitors: ; Dana Steinert won both the 200 Free (2:10.19) and 500 Free (5:46.04); Laurel Crocker won both the 200 Individual Medley (2:25.36) and 100 Breast (1:15.90); Monica Sincel won the 100 Fly ( 1:05.55) and Taylor Wise won the 100 Free (56.04). Taking 2nd place in Diving was Taylor Danner (108.75).

Varsity Boys Bowling won big over the Crestwood Red Devils last night. Jon Miller led the scoring with a 497 series. Other top scorers were Tyler Jastromb 452 series , AJ Byles 245 and Ben Harvey 200. The Rough Rider girls also upset Crestwood. Top scorers were Liz Persuhn 200, Tanjenae Harris 194 and Becca Ripley 174. Good job bowlers!

The Dram Guild is looking for responsible creative students to serve as crew heads for the musical. You can apply for costumes, makeup, publicity, or props. Applications are on the bookshelf in the scene shop and are due to Mrs. Kaplan by Friday.
