The boys varsity soccer team defeated their PTC cross town rival by a score of 4 to 0 last night in Ravenna. Scoring for the Riders were Ryan Parrish, Albert DePerro, Andrew Jones and Christopher Moravec. Splitting time in the goal for the Riders were Kevin Alspach and Tyler Mohnacky. The boys will take on PTC opponent Southeast on Thursday.

Youth Leadership Portage County is seeking junior and senior candidates for its Leadership program that begins with an opening retreat on Sept 29th. Youth Leadership Portage County is a program that gives participants the opportunity to explore your county and what it has to offer as well as develop your leadership skills to use back at your school and community. Three student s from each high school in Portage County are invited to participate. If you would like to request an application form contact Miss Myers TODAY!

The Roosevelt boys soccer team defeated PTC opponent Norton by a score of 4-1 last night. Scoring for the Riders were Will Jencius, Christopher Moravec, Bo Kreiner and Sean Waples. The Riders next opponent is Stow at home Thursday September 3. Come out and support the team.
The boys JV soccer team tied Akron Firestone on Aug. 31 by a score of 1-1. Scoring the goal for the Riders was Ben Bisler. The JV next opponent will be Stow Thursday September 3 at 5:00 at home. Come cheer on the Riders.
