Youth Leadership Portage County is seeking junior and senior candidates for its Leadership program that begins with an opening retreat on Sept 29th. Youth Leadership Portage County is a program that gives participants the opportunity to explore your county and what it has to offer as well as develop your leadership skills to use back at your school and community. The Roosevelt boys soccer team defeated PTC opponent Norton by a score of 4-1 last night. Scoring for the Riders were Will Jencius, Christopher Moravec, Bo Kreiner and Sean Waples. The Riders next opponent is Stow at home Thursday September 3. Come out and support the team.
The boys JV soccer team tied Akron Firestone on Aug. 31 by a score of 1-1. Scoring the goal for the Riders was Ben Bisler. The JV next opponent will be Stow Thursday September 3 at 5:00 at home. Come cheer on the Riders.
