Congratulations to Cosmetology Seniors on passing their state exam!!!

Each year, Rotary Club of Kent sponsors the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) for two Roosevelt High School juniors. Recipients are selected through an application process and awarded scholarships to attend the RYLA Conference held during the summer.  This five-day leadership conference will take place at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, from June 10-14, 2012.  The Rotary Club of Kent covers the entire cost of attending this conference.  Juniors interested in applying for the RLYA should pick up an application in the Activities Office and return it to Mrs. DeLeone in the Student Activities Office by Wednesday, May 16.  Applications should be printed or typed.  Please see Miss Myers if you have any questions.

Prom tickets are on sale today through Friday during your lunch period in the concession stand.  Tickets are $15.00 presale and $18.00 at the door.

This message is for anyone who is going to be a JUNIOR next year (YES that means all sophomores)! We have an awesome opportunity to create the most amazing Silent Auction for next year and we need to start now.  Apply for Silent Auction Chairperson today!  Applications are in the Activities Office and are due Friday, May 11.

Attention all sophomores-  we need your help to clean up after Prom.  Please bring yourself and your parents to the cafeteria on Sunday, May 13th at 4:30 to help clean up.  Pizza will be provided!  Sign-up sheets are in the Activities Office and also in teacher’s classrooms.  We need all the help we can get!

Mayatux-Mayapparel will be here immediately after school on Thursday to deliver tuxes.  You must pay for the tuxedo at the time that it is delivered.  Please pay with a check or the exact change in the envelope.  Remember to pick up your tux on Thursday afternoon right after school.

Attention Seniors- if you have not picked up your graduation announcement order, please see Mrs. Cirullo in the unit principal’s office.  Extra announcements are also available for $1.50 each while they last in the unit principal’s office.
