Do you want to pursue your dance experience? Oberlin College is introducing Oberlin Dance Incentive, a new initiative that the department has created for high school aged dance students. ODI is an amazing opportunity for younger dancers to study with renowned choreographers, dance teachers, and Oberlin College dance students. This intensive week will provide dancers with challenging technique classes and will expose them to new forms of dance and new ways of thinking about dance studies. With performances by Neos Dance Theater and the Oberlin Summer Theater Festival, ODI will also give high school students an opportunity to experience a variety of Oberlin’s performing arts. That’s why this canned food drive is so important! So support your class and our county by bringing in canned goods every day this week!
Ghosts! Murder! People getting shoved in coffins! It all happens in the Drama Guild’s fall play, You Didn’t Say It Was Haunted. This hilarious comedy opens on Thursday, November 21st at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for this show are only $3. The curtain rises on Friday and Saturday, November 22nd and 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for students and $7 for adults. Buy them during lunch periods this week for $1 less! It’s cheaper than a movie, and more fun too!
Listen up seniors – if you have a college application deadline of December 1, you must submit your request and paperwork to the Guidance Office no later than Monday. With the upcoming Thanksgiving break, all applications with December 1 deadlines are due in Guidance NOW.

Do you want to stop malaria? Do you want to save a life? Then stop by the concession stand TODAY for RTA’s bake sale! All money will be donated towards buying malaria nets. For every dollar spent, your name will be put in a raffle to send a net in your name. Also, people will be coming around to your classroom 8th period to collect money, so be ready!
Volunteers are needed for the Special Olympic Swim Clinic, Tuesday, November 19 from 3:30 – 6:00 at the Roosevelt Pool. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and are invited to join us at a pizza party following the event. Applications are available in the Activities Office or at the pool.
