Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing. If you are interested in computers, drawing and designing, programming, and seeing projects come to life, then this career program is for you. In this 1 or 2-year career program, you will use a variety of computer aided design software programs to design projects in 2D and 3D. These projects can then be made on one of two CNC machines; a 3D prototype, or on a laser printer/engraver. Stop by room 142 to see examples of what students are currently working on and to get some great ideas about what kinds of exciting projects you could do in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing

Six District Educational Compact

10^th Grade Students what do you need to know about the Six District Educational Compact and Roosevelt CTE programs? You’ll spend the morning or afternoon in your Career Program or College Tech Prep Initiative and spend the other half-day here at Roosevelt. You can participate in sports, band and other activities. Free bus transportation is provided. If you are working as part of your program, you may need to provide your own transportation. Flexible scheduling options are available, as some students choose to take all their classes at another school. You will graduate – and take part in ceremonies – here at Roosevelt. 10^th graders, please make sure you complete the green visitation forms in guidance to visit our outstanding programs.

Health Career Technologies

Health Career Technologies is a class that prepares you for a career in the medical or dental environment. Within the classroom, students will interact with medical professionals from different work environments. This is a two year program where students will receive high school credits for college prep English, Tech Theory, Lab, Anatomy and Physiology, and an Externship during their senior year. HCT is seeking new students that are interested in learning more about the medical and/or dental field. The program is looking for self-motivated and hardworking individuals who would like to better prepare themselves for their future.

All Six District Educational Compact programs, with the exception of auto specialization, provide opportunity for students to earn College Tech Prep status. College Tech Prep is an infrastructure that provides students with a program of study in a career pathway that incorporates academics, technical skills and career-related courses aligned with postsecondary education.
