Boys Tennis defeated Nordonia 5-0 yesterday. Winning their courts were Grant Jones, Erik Martin, Ethan Jenkins, Sam Kirbabas, Patrick Gallagher, Zach Jenkins and Luke Jenkins.
The Rider Baseball team won in dramatic fashion Tuesday night. Down 3-0 to Revere, Zac Common launched his second home run of the season and Riley Day hit a bases loaded walk off double to win it in the bottom of the seventh. Zane Cramer improved to a 4 and 0 on the season throwing a complete game. The boys improve to 12 and 2 overall and 7 and 2 in the Suburban.
The Rider Baseball team traveled to Tallmadge and came away with a 13-2 victory collecting 13 hits. Riley Day led the offense with 3 hits, Nate Ritchey and Lucius Ivory both had 2 hits. Zac Common struck out 9 in 5 innings for his 4th win and Zach Holman threw two scoreless innings in relief. The boys move to 10 and 3 overall and 6 and 2 in the Suburban American. They will host league rival Revere tonight at Roosevelt Park at 4:30.

The Baseball team knocked off league rival Copley Wednesday behind a complete game by Zac Common. The offense was a balanced attack with 9 Riders driving in runs. Common had 2 hits and Dabrowski had s RBI’s in the 11-1 win. The boys travel to Aurora today for a 4:30 start.

The Rider Baseball team beat Highland last night 9-5 behind another complete game victory by Zane Cramer. Riley Day was 3 for 3 and Zac Common provided a 3 run homerun in the 5th inning to secure the victory. The boys will host Copley today at Roosevelt Park at 4:3. JV wins 6-5.
All members of the Suburban League Leadership Team should see MR. Pfaff by the end of this week pertaining to volunteering at the Special Olympics on May 4th.
The Men’s Track Team was defeated last night at Medina Highland. 1st place finishers include: Anthony Glass, Long Jump, Nicholas Rothearmal, Shot Put. Runner up finishers include Tahj Truss, Shot Put, Anthony Glass High Jump and 110 Hurdles.
The Rider Baseball team traveled to Massillon Perry and won 7-1 behind a fine pitching performance by Spencer Townend and a 4 for 4 day by Zac Common. Riders moved to 8 and 1 on the season and will host Copley today at 4:30.
All Athletes on the state qualifying Cheer squad and the Suburban League Champion Bowling team should see Mrs. DeLeone in the Athletic office for their championship patch.
The Ladies Track & Field program split last evening by defeating Barberton 103-34 and dropping the meet to Aurora 45-88. A great team effort was lead by Miranda Bowser, Jessica Monroe, Isabella McCarty, Liz Wiltanger, Makhia Friedman, Serena Thorton, Mya Budzar, Shayla Lofton, Marissa Koach, and Emma Valetta. Great Job Ladies!
The Men’s Track team faced Aurora and Barberton last night. First place winners were Nick Rothermael in the shot put, Gabe Thornton in the discus, Anthony Glass in 110 Hurdles.
Riders top Revere 5-0 in 9 innings. Zac Common and Zane Cramer combine on the shutout, with Cramer earning the win. Riley Day drove in the game winning runs with a bases loaded double in the 9th. Day, Garrett Slippy, Nathan Renkes, and Matt Dile each had multi-hit games. The boys move to 7 and 0 overall and 3 and 0 in the Suburban League.
The Rough Rider Baseball team swept a double header Saturday from visiting Cloverleaf. Winning game #1, 3-2, and game #2, 6-0. Spencer Townend earned his first win on the mound throwing six innings before giving way to Zac Common who closed the seventh for his 1st save. In game two Bob Haney and Kristian Daetwyler combined for a 1 hit shutout. The Riders moved to 6 and 0 on the season.
