The JV and Varsity Boys Bowling teams beat Copley yesterday 2511 to 2167. Top scorers were Shuan Bennett who rolled a 277 and Logan Manhard who rolled a 225 game. Frank Farley rolled a 215 and Lucius Ivory rolled a 211 for a balanced effort. Kent is now 2 and ) in the Suburban League. The Rough Riders will be in action again on Monday, Dec. 5th to face Twinsburg at Roseland Lanes.
The Girls Bowling team lost to a solid Copley team at Riviera Lanes. Emily Byles was clicking on all cylinders as she continues to improve her game. Emily rolled games of 219 and 237 for a 456 series. Emily rolled 17 strikes against two opens in her two matches. On another positive note, Anna Larison rolled a personal high game of 152 for a 249 series.

Congratulations to the Swim and Dive Team for a great season opener against Aurora last night. The girls team lost a close one 87-93 with great swim. The boys team dominated the night with a win 117-50. Great job Riders. Come watch them swim Tallmadge Wednesday, December 7th at 5:00 at Roosevelt’s Natatorium.
Congratulations to the Lady Riders Basketball team for big road win at Canton South, led by Samara Wright with 19 points and Lexi Horner and her clutch shooting and 13 points, the Riders moved to 1-1 with a 55-49 win. First home game of the year this Saturday vs Aurora at 2:30.

This past weekend, the Ice Hockey team captured the DiPaolo Memorial Tournament Championship on the campus at Miami of Ohio. The Riders were led by individual game MVP’s Phil Kaderle, Hunter Hillebrecht, and TJ Harrod. Harrod would be named tournament MVP. The Riders will play Mentor this Thursday night at home, to open up the Adam S. Hamilton Memorial Tournament. Go Riders!
There will be a Boys Volleyball Open Gym on Wednesday Nov 16th at Stanton from 7:00-8:30 for all guys in grades 9-12.

Congratulations to our very own RHS Varsity Cheerleaders! On Monday, they competed in the Suburban League American Conference Cheer competition. In true Rough Rider fashion, they beat out all other teams to win first place and claim the title of League Champions!
