The cheerleaders are organizing a community send-off for the football team. Community members are invited to line Roosevelt Drive (from the stadium to State Route 43) by 4:45 p.m. to send off the team (the busses leave at 5:00 p.m.). Wear your red, black, and white to show your Rider Pride! Please park in the student parking lot to avoid traffic congestion in the teacher’s lot for the band and cheerleading bus to leave after the team.

Football Playoff Tickets on Sale Wed., Nov 9
Way to go, RIDERS, way to go!! That’s right!! Our Rough Rider Football Team has advanced in the play-offs to play Walsh THIS FRIDAY at 7:30 p.m. at Twinsburg High School Football Stadium. Tickets will be on sale starting WEDNESDAY from 8am -3pm in the Activities Office. Pre-sale tickets are $7 (cash only); tickets at the gate will be $9.00, so make sure you buy them at Roosevelt because we keep a part of the proceeds and it’s cheaper!!!

Poor, poor Raven, the worst is yet to come! You won’t want to miss our annual Ravenna Pep Rally Friday AFTERNOON! Cheerleaders, emcees and the band are dismissed from class at 1:45, and everyone else should head down to the gym at 1:50. In order to start promptly at 2:00. Please move into the gym quickly and sit in your class section. Get ready to rock the house! The Burning of the Raven will take place at the end of the Pep Assembly outside behind the gym.

Free Football Tickets for TRHS Alums at Friday’s Homecoming Game
Continuing a Kent City Schools tradition, free tickets to the Homecoming football game will be available for all Roosevelt alums at the alumni table outside the entrance to the stadium on Friday, September 30. The game against Streetsboro begins at 7 p.m. Homecoming festivities include the crowning of the king and queen during halftime. On Saturday, the Homecoming Dance is scheduled at Roosevelt from 8 to 11 p.m.
