Graduation Announcements Delivery
Attention Seniors- orders for graduation announcements and accessory items will be delivered Thursday, April 29th during lunch in the concession stand. Please make every effort to pick up your order and check it out immediately. Any questions, shortages or corrections to your order should be reported to the salesman on the delivery date. Your order must be paid in full before you can pick it up. Extra announcements will be sold on a first come first served basis at $1.50 each.
Drivers Education
Reminder: only 2 more sessions of Drivers Ed left this school year. The next session will begin on Tuesday, Tuesday, May 4th. You must be 15 years, 5 months old to take the class. Forms are available in the Career Ed and Activities Office. The next session is June 8 through June 17th.

2010 Prom Court
The Class of 2011 Promworks Committee would like to proudly announce the 2010 Prom Court for Remember When…A Blast from the Past. This year’s Prom Court are: Ryan Beckwith, Matthew Bradford, Denerio Bryant, Shane Havel, Marcus Rogers, Chelsie Langston, Alyssa Mazey, Erin McClafferty, Kassondra Spangler and Alysse Vespoint. Seniors, please do not forget to vote for your choice pf Prom King and Queen throughout your lunch period on May 5th, 6th and 7th!
DECA Prom Dress Sale
Forgot about Prom? We’ve got your back! Stop by the library April 30th after school, DECA will be selling gently used dresses and accessories for $10-20 dollars.
Girls Volleyball Open Gym
Any girl not in a spring sport that is interested in playing volleyball this fall, there will be a girls open gym on Wednesday, April 28th from 3-5 at RHS.
Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)
Attention, Juniors! Each year, Rotary Club of Kent sponsors the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) for two Roosevelt High School juniors. Recipients are selected through an application process and awarded scholarships to attend the RYLA Conference held during the summer. This five-day leadership conference will take place at Hiram College from June 13-17, 2010. The Rotary Club of Kent covers the entire cost of attending this conference. Juniors interested in applying for the RLYA should pick up an application in the Activities Office and return it to Mrs. DeLeone in the Student Activities Office by Friday, May 7. Applications should be printed or typed. Please see Miss Myers if you have any questions.
