A= distinguished achievement, high ability and professional application
B= achievement due to high ability and fair application or fair ability
and superior application
C= average achievement due to average ability and fair application or
class absence
D= passable achievement due to neglect, poor preparation, indifference, or
low ability
F= failure due to inability to understand subject matter, habitual neglect or
excessive absence
Letter and number ratio should be recorded in the front of the textbook.
A= 100-93 B= 92-86
C= 85-76 D= 75-70
F= 69
Related class performance:
1. Students are responsible for materials necessary to the preparation of class instruction.
2. Students are required to sit in their assigned seats by the second bell.
3. You are responsible for getting all assignments due to absence.
4. Tests, quizzes or homework are due the day students return (if present for the review) or the following day in class.
5. Homework is due on time for credit.
6. Practice of good manners is expected when others are speaking.
7. Students must pass the semester exam with 75% to be eligible to schedule the state exam.
8. Personal hairstyling or makeup application is not permitted
during class time.
9. Unexcused absences will affect your grade.
10.Students must pass all academic and Cosmetology classes
to receive Cosmetology credit.
11.Students should supply their own box of Kleenex.
12.Good attendance, professional behavior, honesty, participation,
and good study practice will result in successful education.
