Title I

Title I is the largest federal aid program for elementary, middle, and high schools. Through Title I, the Federal government provides money to states, which in turn provide money to school districts based on poverty statistics. Each district uses its Title I money for extra educational services for children who need additional academic support. Parents, teachers, and administrators work together to determine student needs, set goals based on those needs, plan and carry out programs, evaluate programs and work with students to see that they have every opportunity for academic success.

Title I Connections is our Parent Resource Newsletter which is sent home with all Title I students on a monthly basis. It is provided through our Title I Parent Involvement program.

In this monthly newsletter we share ideas about ways to be involved in your child’s learning, important Title I school dates, and suggestions and strategies for working with your children at home.

We hope you enjoy this newsletter and find the information makes your difficult job of parenting easier and helps your child be successful in his/her learning.
