Greetings from the Principal’s Office!

Welcome back to the 2010-2011 school year! I trust everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather we had this summer in Kent. I hope the kids are ready to focus on academics because the teachers and I are excited about the educational program that is provided at Longcoy School. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 25, for grades 1-5 and Friday, August 27, for kindergarten. Please be sure and join us for Supply Night on Tuesday, August 24, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. when your child can meet his/her teacher and put away all those school supplies.   Class lists will be posted on Friday, August 20, at 4:00 p.m. on the front doors of the school. If you are new to the area and need to register your child, please stop in the school office between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. noting that the office is closed daily from 12:00 -1:00 p.m..
