Freshman Focus
Freshman Focus provides students with the business/technology skills they need to be successful in today’s world: word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphic software, manipulation of data and basic software. The course also provides guidance in graduation requirements, constructing an educational timeline, experiencing career assessments and job shadowing, as well as organizational skills. Students learn about co-curricular activities and meet administrators, guidance counselors and other high school support staff.
CBE – Cooperative Business Education
CBE will prepare students for employment in business occupations. Students will benefit from the class by gaining practical work experience toward career goals, developing leadership qualities, building self-confidence, developing responsibility and good work experiences, and learning to work with people. They will also learn to be extremely proficient with technology acquiring skills that will last them a lifetime.
