Wiki Short Stories
Hello! Since you will not be having English Wed. and Thurs. you can work on this assignment outside of class and have it complete by Friday at the beginning of class. We worked with a short story last week and we talked about the setting, the plot, the characters, how they reacted to situations, etc. Well now I would like you to develop your own short stories. I am leaving the topics and everything up to you. You are free to write about what you want. However I want you to take a look at the “Get Started: Emergency Tips” at this website: http://www3.arts.umich.edu/universal/videos/poetry-slam.php, to help you begin. This is almost like a checklist so please make sure to take a look at it! The rest of the blog maybe helpful to use as well if you get stuck, or have trouble starting the story.
Your short stories need to be at least 2-pages long, double-spaced, size 12 font, times new roman. You can either type the story in Microsoft Word and copy and paste it or you may attach it to the wiki page. If you choose to attach it, there needs to be a brief introduction to it or summary paragraph on the wiki page before the story, so your audience understands what they are about to view. If you have any questions please just ask!
Have fun at your internships!
